On a tip from Chris Pirillo’s blog, I downloaded the Windows Live Writer (Beta) and am writing up this post from the new tool. The install was very easy. I double clicked the install MSI, pointed it at my blog URL, supplied my username and password and that was it.
I continue to try to find a good client side blog writer. There is nothing wrong (and a lot that’s right) with the Word Press web client, but sometimes I find myself wanting to at least draft some posts (if not complete them) when I can’t be online. I am looking in to getting EVDO service, so that would limit those times to when I am on airplanes, but until then I will give this one a try. And yes, I have tried w.bloggar and found it a little too “ugly”. It did work though.
